We were approached by interior designer Peter Mikic to produce a range of brass and acrylic side tables. Working from design intent drawings, we developed fabrication drawings and a methodology in preparation for batch production.

We worked with our specialist partners at CG Metal Spinners to produce solid brass dishes with varying diameters and matching U-channel rings. The cast acrylic components required us to work with a degree of tolerance, with the spinning process being adjusted to match the exact dimensions of each acrylic tube.
The spun brass pieces were delivered to our studio for hand finishing and final assembly. Bespoke MDF caps were cut on our in-house CNC machine and fitted to the interior for added structural integrity. With careful manipulation, we were able to achieve a seamless transition between the mirror-polished brass and cast acrylic surfaces.
