Kynance is the inaugural furniture collection by designer Ali Robinson.  The collection - which includes vitrines, sideboards, tables and shelving - showcases a range of materials and processes from blackened steel mesh to pewter-inlaid marble.  A number of feature pieces from the collection were fabricated by our team, who worked closely with Ali to develop a fabrication design for his furniture that made it suitable for small batch production.

At the heart of the collection is the Kynance table.  The Kynance II features dyed tulipwood veneer with inlaid blackened brass discs.  The unusual geometric table base is fabricated in steel and finished with acid for a blackened look.

The elegant vitrines and Bushey Hill sideboard feature industrial blackened steel mesh lightened with glass shelving and colourful accents.  These intricate pieces demanded a sensitive approach to fabrication and finishing processes, resulting in a refined final product.

Kynance launched at Decorex International 2018, with the display being built and installed on-site by the Weber Industries team.  The collection has featured in press including House & Garden, the Financial Times Superior Interiors and The Sunday Times Home.
