Working with artist Nika Neelova, we facilitated the fabrication and installation of this large-scale sculpture. Making a mould from a section of reclaimed parquet flooring we cast a series of tiles in pigmented concrete. Inlaid steel cabling allowed the tiles to be hung over a wooden structure, which was fabricated from salvaged timber that was charred in our studio. Originally exhibited in ‘The Future Can Wait’ at Victoria House, London, we recently managed the re-installation of the piece for a private collection in Sweden.
