One New Ludgate

For the award-winning art programme at One New Ludgate in London, we were approached by artist Nika Neelova to support the production of a large-scale public art commission that forms the central feature of the development's foyer. Working closely with the artist we produced fabrication and installation designs in preparation for production.

For 'A Vane A Feather A Blade A Sickle A Curve An Edge A Crescent An Oar' over one thousand cast resin pieces were shaped and finished by hand in our workshop. In addition, forty aluminium, brass and copper rods were machined using our lathe and drill press to form the central structure to which the resin ‘petals’ were attached.
